Even though I had a hard time getting into this book-I just usually associate virgins with HPs and this heroine would have to be the most blatant, free-spirited, sensual non-virginal heroine in HP history.

Hmm..Better ask Lady D or Boogenhagen about that one.

Anyway, there is love from the beginning but we have to throw it all away because of fear. Well, duh! Anwyay, the coming back together-literally and figuratively-is explosive and a joy to read.

Wow! Not since Adam Black in The Immortal Highlander have a read this good a description of a heroine losing her virginity! Jeez. If I hadn’t wanted a do-over before, I definitely want one now.

Whew! Give me a minute.

Ok. What a fun, sexy, oftentimes deeply introspective book. Having had the privilege to play a small part in the nursing of aging relatives, I can understand where this heroine is coming from. I also deeply respected her basically putting her life on hold to take care of those she loved. That part reminded me slightly of Roanna in Shades Of Twilight, but that is where those two heroines part ways.

Our Roxanna is no push-over. She knows what she wants and goes after it. Truth be told, it is a bit cliched and over the top, but it’s an HP and it feeds my selfish need for the same. Well done!

I just couldn’t get into this one: didn’t really care if the couple got together. I kinda just wanted it all to end. The heroine, former party girl, is now a work-a-holic nurse.

There is so very much I did not LIKE about the heroine that it really ruined the read for me.

Probably just need a re-read.

Ummm…wow! I don’t really know why I gave this book three stars-there were some inconsistencies especially with regard to the heroine’s appearance, but whatever. Also, how could he NOT know that kid was his?? I know. I know. River in Egypt and all that, but whatever.

He did fight the good fight, but you could tell he simply LOVED the heroine from the moment he approached her at her sister’s wedding. You just knew.

TSTL the lot of them! For the former BFF’s mother to invite her to the wedding and say it was needed or whatever rubbish she said…GIVE ME A FREAKING BREAK!!

TSTL the lot of them! For the former fiancee to say at the very end of the book all glowing with happiness and sh&t, “I always knew you were going to be a [whatever their last name is], you just started with the wrong one” or something like that!

TSTL the lot of them! I would have gone quietly away and licked my wounds then bought Voodoo dolls and all the stick pins I could find at Michael’s and Joann’s. I’m just saying.
